Air Taxi
The definition of air taxi, as mentioned in the Regulations (CARs), authorizes the transportation of passengers from point "A" to point "B" on single-engine and multiengine airplanes when maximum takeoff weight does not exceed 8618kg (19,000 lbs) and the number of passenger seats is a maximum of 9, excluding the pilot and co-pilot seats. The Air Taxi, as its name suggests, is both a local and medium-distance service. It is quite possible to make a return trip from Montreal to Toronto on the same day or simply be dropped at a place of your choice.
The advantage of Air Taxi compared to regular lines is the schedule flexibility and accessibility, because the waiting time for security and baggage claim are minimized.
In addition, the Air Taxi can reach areas in Canada that are not served by major lines.
